Professor Ruralise?!

The Royal Forestry Society enjoyed my Forest Village thought-piece, so much so that they asked me to re-write it to run in the July edition of their Quarterly Journal of Forestry. As a keen science buff it’s quite a thrill to be sandwiched in between ‘Chord-Forming Fungi in British Woodlands’ and ‘Acoustic Velocity Measurements in Oak’. You can read about Forest Village in this PDF (Forest Village QJF July 2013), or in full on Ruralise starting here…but if you want to find out more about ‘The Exceptional Yew Trees of England, Scotland and Wales’ you’ll have to buy the magazine (here).
